Two-Factor Authentication

At MCLR Financial Center, we care about providing you with great service, which includes keeping your personal and financial information secure.

If you already use NetClient CS® — our secure, personalized client portals — to access your information and provide information to our firm, you are required to use two-factor authentication when you sign in, which adds another layer of identity verification to the login process so your protection against hacking and fraud attempts is stronger and more secure than just a password. You’ve probably used two-factor authentication in some form already, such as when you use your PIN number in addition to your debit card to withdraw cash from an ATM.

Thomson Reuters recommends using the Auth0 Guardian app installed on your mobile device as your second authenticator. This app is the only option that supports push notification when you log into your portal. Other options include providing a phone number for a text message or a voice call, another authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, or a hardward security key. (If you previously had been using the Thomson Reuters Authenticator, it is still available, but push notification no longer works; even Thomson Reuters recommends changing to the Auth0 Guardian app.)

Apple devices: Download the Auth0 Guardian mobile app from the App Store.
Android devices: Download the Auth0 Guardian mobile app from Google Play.
