MCLR Financial Center has created this blog to keep our clients and business associates informed and educated on timely topics related to taxes, accounting, business, finance, and other topics we feel may be of interest.  We hope our blog answers your questions and relieves some of the anxiety related to complicated tax laws and related matters.

MCLR Financial Center Launches Their New Website

Posted by Admin Posted on Aug 20 2015

Beginning sometime in the next couple of weeks, you will notice a big change when you visit www.mclr.net. We will bring our redesigned and reorganized website online, which is expected to be more compatible with the smaller screens found on mobile devices, yet will offer access to more and better articles and tools.

The HOME page will continue to provide quick access to our most accessed forms, as well as our business hours and contact information.

CLIENTS will contain the most popular articles, forms, and links appropriate for many of our clients.

NEWS will let you read our monthly newsletter (including archived articles going back several years) and our new blog. We encourage you to sign up for this free service.

TOOLS will help you find many answers whenever you have a question. Use our Financial Calculators, read tax tips, refer to tax rate schedules and due date calendars, or link to many IRS forms.

GUIDES for banking, business, financial plans, insurance, life events, and taxes are also provided, as well as a document retention guide.

And of course, you can find out ABOUT US and CONTACT US.

Users of our NetClient CS portal system will also be able to log in from the bottom of any screen, but the portals themselves have not been changed.

We hope you will like our new web design.  If you have any problems, questions, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

Jerry Condon Retires

Posted by Admin Posted on July 25 2015

After more than 12 years with us, Jerry Condon gave notice that 2015 would be his last tax season. “My wife, Elaine, has been retired for approximately six years. We would like to be able to spend more time at our cottage and perhaps do a little traveling while we are still able.”

Jerry started preparing taxes in 1960, when he first began his own practice. He always enjoyed tax season, and was proud of the long-lasting relationships he had built, with some people coming back every year from the beginning!

“I have nothing but gratitude to MCLR Financial Center for allowing me to continue to work for their Company much beyond normal retirement years. In my opinion, it has been an equally rewarding relationship for which I am very grateful.”

Thank you, Jerry, for coming on board. You’ve been a tremendous asset to us, a good friend, and a wise advisor. We’ll miss you, and wish you the best in your retirement.
